Objective: Create a motion graphic video that serves as an overview for the BadgePass Enterprise product – Visitor Manager.

Approach: I always start a video project with storyboards from the project owner. I then look at the storyboard sketches and plan out how I’m going to build the vector assets. From there I start my project file in Adobe After Effects, create my parent composition and break down each storyboard thumbnail into their own separate composition as well. I usually save inserting the narration in last because typically it’s not recorded yet and also because it’s one of the easier things to adjust within the project file after the assets and compositions are laid out.

Results: Motion graphic explainer video created, uploaded on YouTube and utilized throughout series of marketing pieces. Those marketing pieces can be anything from a website landing page, blog posts, socials and depending on the composition a frame can be exported and repurposed as a digital ad or printed flyer.
