Objective: This website was part of a much bigger marketing campaign that consisted of a partner event in Florida that required badge designs, a 5×7″ flyer, a 25×31″ welcome sign, an event landing page on company’s website, a marketing effort to attract registrants, via email and LinkedIn, and a 160 page book. This website was created to coincide with the book where people could gain a bit more insight about the book and also pre-order the book.

Approach: I had a very limited amount of time to get this site created, roughly a week, but I also had a healthy amount of other design related tasks to complete as well. Luckily our CEO – who wrote the book – opted for a really simple layout. It’s a 1 page website with 6 sections. I essentially relied on Bootstrap’s column and image carousel utility, HTML Flex display and some HTML5 semantic containers – namely Section, Article and Aside.

Results: Project completed on time to a very satisfied CEO.
